Day 1
Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
Depart from Ulaanbaatar city and head towards Baga Land Stones of Dundgov Province, where you will stay at a tourist camp for the night.

Day 2
Travel from Baga Land Stone to Tsagaan Stupa and stay at a tourist camp for the night. This journey will take you through the stunning clay wall canyon of Great Gobi, the beautiful beaches from an early age, and the magnificent Tsagaan Stupa.

Day 3
Depart from Tsagaan Suvar and visit the Umnogov province, where you will visit a museum, explore the area, and then visit Yol mouth. Spend the night at a tourist camp, which is named after the Yol bird. This rare bird, found only in Central Asia, has a wingspan of 2.5-3 meters, a bluish-yellow back, pale belly, and a beard under the chin. The bird nests at an altitude of over 1700 meters and usually lays two eggs in February. It feeds on animal carcasses.

Day 4
Travel from Yol mouth to Hongor sand, a stunning sand dune that stretches for about 180 km. Along the way, you will also visit Bayandalai Sum and stay at the tourist camp for the night.

Day 5
From Khogor Sands, travel to Bayanza. Bayanzag, with its unique natural formation, is a 20-50 meter high steep cliff and one of the largest gorges in Mongolia. On the way, you will also visit Bulgan Sum of Mungogov Province and stay at a tourist camp for the night.

Day 6
Depart from Bayanza and visit the Ong monastery in Dundgov province. This iconic monastery, called “Gundjambaalin” Monastery in Tibet, was built between 1760 and 1810 by the noble monk Ishdonlkhundev and his disciple Bar Lama Damtsagdorj. At its peak, there were 28 temple with over 1,000 monks and nuns living there. Spend the night at a tourist camp.

Day 7
Travel from Ong monastery to Kharkhorin Sum, Ovorkhangai province, and stay at a tourist camp for the night. Visit the Erdene zuou monastery and museum during the day.

Day 8
Depart from Kharkhorin Sum and visit the Ulaan tributary, Shahn Monastery, and Uurti Kohoy tourist camp. The Ulaan tributary waterfall is 24 meters tall, while the Orkhon River varies in height between 25 and 50 meters, making it the widest waterfall in Mongolia. The Shankh Monastery was first established in 1650 and was once the main monastery of Tushee County, Tusheet Khan Province. Uurtiy Khoy is another canyon with magnificent rock walls along the road to Orkhon Waterfall and is located at an altitude of 1630 meters. There are also sour cold springs with carbon dioxide, which are good for treating internal diseases.

Day 9
Travel from the Ulaan tributary to Tibkhon Monastery and Tsenheri Hot Spring. The Tibkhan Monastery was founded in 1648 by the first Javzandamba nobleman, the High Saint Zanabazar, at the age of 14. He was drawn to the special formation of a small rocky plateau on the top of Shireet Ulaan Mountain, which is 2,600 meters above sea level and surrounded by forests. He returned from Tibet in 1651 and built a meditation monastery there

Day 10
Visit the museum and explore the province. Stop at the Taikhar Stone in Ikhtamir Sum of Arhangai Province and spend the night at a tourist camp. The Taikhar Stone was originally triangular in shape, but in the 17th century, Galdanboshig made it into a square stone for his beloved queen, Anu. People also test their strength by throwing stones at the stone.
